Guestroom Renovation

The interior building renovation of the Grand Floridian Resort at Walt Disney World is broadly identified as the renovation of eight hundred ninety-seven guestrooms, suites, corridors and guestroom lobbies of 5 lodge buildings, and the guestroom areas of the main building for the resort and spa.

The work performed by Wal-Mark Contracting included FF&E liquidation and installation, demolition, gypsum wallboard, marble tile, carpet, painting, wall covering, toilet accessories, plumbing piping and fixtures, general electrical and interior lighting fixtures, and minor improvements to the HVAC system. Detailed coordination and scheduling of Owner, Subcontractors, and labor was necessary to provide a complete, in-place, fully functional renovation within the project schedule.
